Lauren Picard is an Assistant Underwriter at kWh Analytics. Prior to joining kWh, Lauren worked at BASS Underwriters, an MGA in Mobile, AL. Before that, she rode shotgun for the opening of Ghost Train Brewery in Birmingham and had a blast serving the community libations and (bad) jokes.
Lauren graduated with a B.A.S. in Economics from the University of Alabama. She is from Daphne, AL, and currently resides in Mobile with her husband and pup.
Mike is an Underwriter at kWh Analytics. Mike began his career working in Commercial Banking at MUFG in New York, transitioning from credit underwriting across various industries to MUFG’s Relationship Management team covering the Power & Utilities industry. In this role he coordinated the cross-sell of MUFG’s various Investment Banking and credit products to regulated utilities, independent power producers and infrastructure fund clients.
Mike received his BS in Business from Carnegie Mellon University. He grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and currently lives nomadically.
Mike Mousou is a Data Engineer at kWh Analytics. Prior to joining kWh, he worked at Hannon Armstrong as a portfolio management analyst. There he managed a wide variety of solar and wind portfolios in addition to developing data visualizations and data automation processes. Prior to Hannan Armstrong, Mike worked at a law firm, specializing in immigration law and helping clients gain visas, greencards, and citizenship.
Mike studied Neuroscience and Economics at Ohio State University, where he worked in multiple research labs focusing on neurodegenerative diseases. He is from Columbus, Ohio.
Nicole Thompson is a Senior Manager of Data Science kWh Analytics. Prior to joining the team, Nicole worked as a Data Scientist at an AI company where she developed explainable industrial AI solutions, with a focus on reasoning algorithms. In her graduate studies, her research was centered around nanocrystals for bioimaging as well as applying data science to differential capacity analysis of batteries.
Nicole earned her M.S. in Chemical Engineering with a Data Science option from the University of Washington and her B.S.E in Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. She is from Great Falls, Montana.
Nikky is the Sr. Manager of Marketing at kWh Analytics, where she provides insight into the needs of our customers, partners, and industry. Nikky began her career with MIKADO International, marketing multicultural consumer products for companies such as Comcast and Unilever. Later, she worked at Greenhouse Partners where she specialized in marketing strategy development, creative design, media relations, and social media engagement for a variety of clients in a wide range of industries.
Nikky received her BS in Business from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She currently lives in beautiful Denver, Colorado.
Phoebe Hwang is a Data Engineer at kWh Analytics. Prior to joining the team, she was an intern on the data team at a utility company, where she analyzed time-series datasets on tap-changing voltage regulators. Before that, Phoebe was a web administrator intern at an e-commerce company, where she made improvements on website UIs and debugged web-related issues.
Phoebe holds an M.S. in Information Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from National Taiwan University. She resides in Illinois.
